Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound screenings for first responders.
An ideal Sonographer will have a strong foundation in general ultrasound. Echo experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in general ultrasound
- Echocardiography experience (or willingness to learn)
- VT experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- A caring, team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations, from the neck to the testicles/uterus. No transvaginal examinations will be performed.
- Ensure patient comfort during procedures by explaining the process.
- Collaborate with the provider and other healthcare team members to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies.
- Follow established protocols for equipment maintenance and quality assurance.
- Perform clinic upkeep during downtime.
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic imaging.
- Demonstrated ability in patient care, ensuring a compassionate approach towards all patients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to providers and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player within a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant certification or degree in Medical Sonography or equivalent training is required.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
